Victoria grew up sailing on the west coast of British Colombia, fostering an intense love of the wind and sea.   She began sailing at the tender age of one where she often found herself nestled in the spinnaker of a Martin 242; while her parents raced around the cans in the San Juan Islands.  Since then, she has raced and cruised in many different capacities, this includes a boat delivery to San Francisco and an offshore trip throughout the South Pacific.  As a member of the RVicYC Race Team through high school, Victoria attended regattas all over western Canada in the Opti and the Laser Radial. Now as a University student, she has re-focused her keelboat sailing and when not sailing for the Queen’s Sailing Keelboat Team, Victoria can be found racing Martin 242 and various JBoats.  Victoria is thrilled at the opportunity to compete at the Student Yachting World Cup and to see Team Golden Gael II achieve their goals.  Go Canada Go!
