Ethan’s first time on a yacht came a week after he was born, a moment his parents see as the start to his life long passion and love for sailing. Coming from the highs and lows of sailing an Optimist, to just missing a spot on the Canadian Senior Sailing Team, Ethan understands what it took for him to become a great sailor. On top of this, his recent work as a high performance coach has provided valuable insight into how other sailors can succeed. As a coach, Ethan has created a philosophy and formula that works to inspire, encourage and support athletes to become leaders in their sport. Entering into SYWoC 2010, Ethan plans to bring the same array of experiences, knowledge and leadership that has worked to bring medals home for himself and his athletes.
